My ministry educational experience began in in 1996 at Huntington College located in Huntington, Indiana. My academic degree program was Bible and Religion. After spending a year at Huntington College my wife and I transferred to Lee University located in Cleveland, Tennessee. My academic degree program changed to Bible and Theology. It was at Lee University were I grew in my love for God’s Word and its ability to teach and transform the lives of all humankind. I had so many great classes taught by incredible men and women of God. But there were several that stretched and shaped me for future ministry. Dr. Baddle, Dr. Daffee, Dr. Simmons, Dr. Bayles, Dr. Cross. I graduated from Lee University in the fall of 1999 and took my first ministry position as an Associate Pastor in West Virginia.
My second ministry educational experience was missionary training school with Youth With A Mission in Denver, Colorado. in the spring of 2002 my wife and I moved to Arvada, a western suburb, of Denver. This was like four years of college crammed into 7 months. I learned so much about loving others and letting the Holy Spirit lead and empower my life. I experienced everything from working with the homeless in the inner city Denver and Las Vegas Nevada to cross culture ministry in Colombia South America. It was an amazing time of shaping and sharpening my spirit for ministry.
After YWAM my wife and I moved to Wilmore, Kentucky, a small town located outside of Lexington, Kentucky, to Asbury Theological Seminary. My academic degree program was Christian Leadership. Asbury Theological Seminary was a wonderful place where I learned how to be a servant leader and what Christian community was all about. I also learned how to be a father to my son who was born in Lexington Kentucky in the summer of 2005. Asbury will always be a very special part of my heart. I graduated in 2006 with a M.A. in Christian Leadership and left for a two-year experience of church planting in Cumberland, Maryland.
